Gary B. Clark, MD,
MPA, born in Columbus, Ohio, 5 December 1940. Currently,
Medical
Director of the Center for Healing Injury and Pain,
Boulder Prolotherapy, Boulder, Colorado.
Earned BA and MD from University of Colorado. Interned
in Pediatrics at Yale-New Haven
Hospital. Residency in Pathology and Neuropathology
at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (Board certified).
Earned Masters Degree in Public Administration
with Special Study in Organizational Development
at George Washington University. Retired from
the US Army after 23 years active duty in 1991.
Began
studying Prolotherapy and Musculoskeletal Medicine
in 1985, before Army retirement.
Since then, have studied extensively under Thomas
H. Ravin, MD, and Jeffrey Patterson, DO.
Am member of American Association for Orthopedic
Medicine and helped found the American
Certification in Orthopedic and Musculoskeletal
Medicine Program (ACOMMP) with Thomas H.
Ravin, MD. Was founding editor and publisher of
the Journal of Military Medical Laboratory Science
and was Quality Management Editor, Clinical Laboratory
Management Review. Have authored the text,
Systematic Quality Management, American Society
of Clinical Pathologists Press, wrote the Honduran
Manual for Prolotherapy and Varicose Vein Sclerosis,
and have authored 30 journal articles.
