José Eleazar Calderón
de la Fuente, MD, is a Mexican physician, born
in Monclova, Coahuila. Dr .Calderon followed in
his family’s footsteps, as his father was also
a traumatologist and his mother a nurse. He is
the first born of three brothers and is married
to Alina González Rodriguez with whom he has an
11-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. He
is an orthopedist and a traumatologist graduating
from the Medical School of San Luis Potosí, S.
L. P. Mexico and completing residency training
at the Orthopedic Institute Rizzoli of Bologne,
Italy. He has subspecialty training in arthroscopy
of the knee from the University of Texas Health
Science Center at San Antonio, Texas, 1994 and
Southeast Orthopaedic Clinic, PTO of San Antonio,
Texas, 1994.
Dr. Calderon met the Hausers back in 1998 when they
were teaching a Prolotherapy course in Monclova,
Coahuila, Mexico. He attended the conference at that
time, but it was not until he came to volunteer at
Beulah Land Ministries missionary clinic with the
Hausers in 1999 that he felt the calling to use Prolotherapy
in his practice. He has been using Prolotherapy in
his practice since that time and even became one
of the physician instructors at the missionary clinic.
Dr. Calderon also graciously contributed very helpful
surgical information and photographs to Prolo
Your Sports Injuries Away! published by Beulah Land Press
in 2001.
